EMS's 4th Annual Clay Shoot
Elite Midstream Services is proud to invite you to attend our Fourth Annual Sporting Clay Shoot benefitting Homes For Our Troops (HFOT). The event will be held on May 4, 2019 at Hunting Hills Shooting Preserve located in Dilliner, PA.
Homes For Our Troops is a top-rated Veterans and Military Charity, with a commitment to excellence in stewardship, nearly 90 cents of every dollar donated to HFOT is invested directly into supporting the Veterans they serve. For seven consecutive years, HFOT has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, their highest possible rating indicating sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability.
Homes For Our Troops reached a milestone in February 2018, delivering its 250th home to Army Sergeant Christian Valle in Temecula, CA. An infantryman serving in Iraq, Sergeant Valle was injured at avehicle checkpoint, resulting in the loss of both his legs. He says his HFOT home is a “reset” button for himand his family. Sergeant Valle has already begun paying it forward by hand cycling for Team HFOT, a dedicated group of approximately 500 runners and cyclists nationwide, fundraising by participating in numerous major races to support the mission of HFOT.
We are very proud of last year’s event because we were able to send a check to Homes For Our Troops for $16,286.37 to be used to help fund the construction of a home adaptable for Army Corporal Kevin McCloskey, who sustained serious life altering injuries as the result of his vehicle striking an improvised explosive device in Logar Province, Afghanistan. This explosion resulted in the loss of both his legs, vision loss in his right eye and traumatic brain injury. We are again dedicating the proceeds of this event to Corporal McCloskey.
I have always adhered to the principle that one should lead by example. This is one reason why the Elite staff decided to sponsor this fund-raising event as an example of our dedication to American values and our commitment to our Veterans, who have given so much for us to be able to enjoy the American freedoms we so readily take for granted. Sergeant Valle, Corporal McCloskey, and all Veterans are leading by example. Please follow their lead by supporting and attending this event.
The event will include 100 Sporting Clays. Registration begins at 8:30 AM, Warm-up Stations will be available starting at 9:00 AM, and a shotgun start commences at 10:00 AM. Following the shoot, a barbecue lunch will be served. There will be a Door Prize, Chinese Auction, and a separate raffle for a quality shotgun.
